The face of this ring measures approximately 7/8 inch tall at the tallest point. Total weight is 20.6 grams.
The Cloud Mountain Turquoise Mine is located in Yun County, in the Northwest region of the Hubei Province, China. This area has been mined for turquoise since the Tang Dynasty of the 7th through early 10th century. This is some of the highest quality Turquoise to come out of China. Cloud Mountain Turquoise comes in a variety of webbed matrix patterns and shades of blue and green. This turquoise is becoming difficult to find given the mine was closed in 2005.
