This exquisite Navajo squash blossom necklace is handcrafted by Lydia Begay, a skilled silversmith renowned for her traditional craftsmanship and timeless Southwestern style. Each detail in this piece reflects precision, balance, and deep cultural artistry.
Created from sterling silver, the necklace features brilliant Kingman turquoise stones from the famed Kingman Mine in Arizona, USA—treasured for their vivid blue color. The turquoise cabochons are carefully set in beautifully detailed floral blossoms, connected by oxidized silver beads that add depth and character.
The necklace measures 24 inches along the inside neckline and is centered by a graceful Naja measuring 2 3/4 inches top to bottom and 2 3/8 inches side to side. Each blossom measures 1 1/8 inches from the upper leaves to the bottom of the blossom, and the piece is strung with 5.7 mm sterling silver beads.
The Naja pendant is signed by Lydia Begay with her hallmark “B” and stamped “Sterling,” a mark of authenticity and Navajo craftsmanship. Weighing a total of 82.5 grams, this necklace carries a perfect balance of elegance, tradition, and enduring artistry.
